“Looking through the site a few months back, and seen lot of the Suns and Star designs. Some were a bit too plain for my liking. I seen this and I thought that’s the one and no one on the site was rocking it !! Might put some baybayin on the side of it soon.”

Maye Dianne, My Rebirth by Oscar (Tattoo Shop off of Centinela & La Cienega)
“I wanted to get a tattoo that symbolized the day my partner came into my life. So with her being Filipino I thought what would be better than getting her name in Baybayin . The writing says, “Maye Dianne ” . and the rainbow butterfly symbolizes re-birth, the day she came into my life was the day i came back to life!

JC Cristobal (San Francisco)
God Blessed You by Tengko
“Pinoy art!”
Son of God. God incarnate. The Messiah. Nazarene. The King of Jews. Joshua. The Anointed One. The Prince of Peace. Liberator. Redeemer. The Wonder Counselor. Emmanuel. Son of David. And the list goes on.
Jesus has been a celebrated subject of art-related activities like sculpture (Michelangelo’s Pieta), painting, drawing, movies (The Passion of the Christ), novels (The Da Vinci Code), and even tattoos. He can be portrayed as a child in nativity scenes and can be delineated with long curly hair, wears a full beard and a robe, with a crown of thorns and either crucified or carrying a humungous cross.
Whatever name he has or however one sees Him, Jesus is surely an inspiration to most of us.
