The reason why it was located at his chest, and not in his back, is because his love for his country is straight from his heart. He said that Filipinos should be recognized worldwide! Kalyetodo is the title of Nilo’s youtube channel. Kalye means “street” in English while “todo” means “push to the limit”. In his channel you can find different ways on how to be fit using weights, hitting the gym, simple exercises and the likes.

On his arms are some sort of tribal tattoos. He didn’t really explain the meaning or breakdown of the Baybayin. What do you think it says?

Acid of Boston has this very symbolic tattoo of Koi in his back.

“Koi” fish have been used in Chinese artworks long time ago. It was said that Koi tattoos are for good luck and fortune. Aside from that, it also represents courage, love and wealth depends on the color and direction they are swimming.

It symbolizes “courage” because human swims to ocean of sufferings without fear just like a fish that swims through water. It is a sign of “love” because Koi means love. It can be either “romantic love” or “passionate love.” It can also bring “wealth” if the tattoo is in harmony with your body and surroundings.

Respect and faithfulness are the two distinguish characteristics of Filipino when it comes to their family. Unlike other Asian countries, there are no booming orphanage in the Philippines for Filipinos love to keep and take care of their own parents or relatives till they grow old.

This also denotes the high respect and love of Edward with his family for his tattoo design showed it. This one is consists of 3 Stars and a Sun with the letters in family design that says his name “Edward Tumanan Tribue”.

Looks great but one character is upside down. Can anyone guess? If your going to get Baybayin tattooed, don’t use an online translator is they don’t know pronunciation and context. Either learn the script or ask someone for help.

Ilocano people are the third largest ethnolinguistic group in the Philippines. They are now dominant ethnic group in the Northern Philippines. They are known for being hardworking and generally engaged in fishing and farming.
