“While living in America it is very easy to become assimilated with others in the country. I am not saying to avoid it, but I wanted something to give me a reminder of where I came from. My parents raised me in a household in the States, however with Filipino culture in many aspects of my life. My tattoo represents my roots from the Philippines and as a reminder to myself everyday about my culture. It was designed by my cousin and done by my cousin.”

Not a fully blooded Pinoy, BD from Lakeview, is still full-blooded by heart. He is extremely proud of being Pinoy and his 2nd tattoo (as seen above) and definitely this will not be his last tattoo because he is coming for more. He had his 3 stars and a sun around his sleeves in tribal pattern.

Our bearer, Mr. Million (as he named himself), was raised in Hawaii but is always Filipino by heart. His tattoo is very symbolic with different designs that signifies who he is. Tribal vest like and rosary on his neck are very visible in his tattoo. As a Filipino, rosary and praying the rosary are things that cannot be detach from them.
