Philippine eagle is the Philippines national bird and world wide known because they are said to be the king of all birds. The combination of Philippine eagle and flag signifies “rise Philippines and shine” among other countries.

The sexy tattoos in the rib cage of Rona Gonzales (the bearer) was made by Alex from Dream Jungle that says “Guevara Gonzales”, which is her middle and last name.

The Baybayin on her shoulder is the Hail Mary in Baybayin and her entire back was done by Chop at Gold Rush in Costa Mesa. She added fans because of the Filipino fan dance she learned when she was a kid. The flowers are Sampaguita and she is planning to finish its colors.

The tattoos on her garter belt and around her thigh are cherry blossoms she had 12 years ago.

Alan Pangilinan from San Diego just recently got this Philippine Sun and a Star. It is originally had a turtle but he’s been wanting the Filipino sun and his last name on his back for a while now. As you can see,  he had the sun go around his turtle. The turtle was for when he was Tahitian drumming. He will be getting the color of the turtle redone to match the rest of his back.

This tattoo at the back of  Jowald Casem tells the different patriotic events in the history of the Philippines. Aside from that, you can also see at his back the different symbols that signifies the Philippines like the 3 stars and a sun and the feather inked pen. According to the bearer, every tattoo have stories and many Filipino, including him, loves to show their pride in their nation. This is unfinished tattoo and Jowald still wants to add up some more in the future.

Jai from Hong Kong got inspired by Pinoytattoos.com and got this 3 Stars and a Sun tattoo when he flew in the Philippines for a usual holiday season visit to his relatives. He saw the site and found out the different Pinoy tattoos Filipinos got on their skin to represent their identity around the globe. After so many years of wanting tattoo, Jai finally found what his heart looks for. He can now say that he is very proud Filipino thru his 3 Stars and a Sun tattoo. Erwin from Germany picked up this tattoo because it looks like an image but when you turn it sideways you can will read only one word because it’s in Ambigram style. The magic word is “Pilipinas” and he incorporates this tattoo with him because no matter what happens he will still be a Filipino. Just like the tattoo, know matter how side you read, it will still come up with the word “Pilipinas”. He was born in Germany but in his heart and mind he is one great Filipino.

This wonderful and very artistic tattoo of Jay from California was a two session job made by Jim which he would like to thank. The original tattoo was consisted of dreamcatcher and old tribal band. Jim did some magic, blended the tribal sun, moon and stars and viola, the tattoo came up that way.

Manny Pacquiao is opening a tattoo shop, Champion Ink in LA with Chris Garcia.

During the “Redhorse Pambansang Muziklaban: Francis Magalona Tribute” on Saturday, Pacquiao revealed that he has a new business venture – a tattoo shop in Los Angeles, California.

He tapped Chris Garcia, also known as “Champion Ink,” as his business partner.

“Magandang karangalan ito na makasama ko siya sa tattoo shop dahil isa siya sa mga pinakamagaling mag-tattoo dito sa atin and I’m very proud of him. Marami siyang tina-tattoo-han, mga sikat na actors, Hollywood actors, mga singers at marami pang iba. Sana malayo ang marating namin,” said Pacquiao.

The eight-world division champion, who is a tattoo enthusiast, said he is looking forward to have a new tattoo when he flies back to LA for his training.
