3 Stars and a Sun is so popular nowadays as tattoo design not only in the Philippines but also outside the country.
3 Stars and a Sun was based on the Philippine flag. The three stars stands for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao while the sun that have 8 rays represents the eight places that fought against the Spaniards.
This one is from PJ of Las Vegas, Nevada. He only have one message and that is “please don’t copy” the design. Obviously, this one is his original concept of 3 Stars and a Sun.

it doesn’t matter how common it is… it shows you’re filipino and damn proud of it and that is what’s important… there’s nothing hotter than someone showing their pride…
yo bro! cool tat and respect for being proud of who you are but, come on bro, dont think your the first to get this tattoo, got mine in 96 and i copied it from a relative of mine in the same forearm…but nevertheless much respect, jah bless all my pinoy peeps out there.
