Our bearer, Mr. Million (as he named himself), was raised in Hawaii but is always Filipino by heart. His tattoo is very symbolic with different designs that signifies who he is. Tribal vest like and rosary on his neck are very visible in his tattoo. As a Filipino, rosary and praying the rosary are things that cannot be detach from them.

Philippine Island with different tribal is the concept of this tattoo from B.J Bataloin from Kaui. This also represents the different culture that Filipinos have. Philippines is compost of 7, 107 islands which is not surprising that its people have different culture.

B.J hopes that his concept is unique and original. This was done by Extreme Ink on Nimitz Highway.

Levin Salonga of Milwaukee, WI sent this to us to show his love for the Philippines. He said his heart will always be filled with love for his country even if he’s in States most of his life.

This is not unusual scenario for most of the Filipinos living in abroad. I remember a Filipino song with a lyrics “San ka man mapunta..babalik ka rin..babalik ka rin.” That’s exactly the point! Wherever you are in the globe, your heart will still find its one true home.
