Nagbukalan Shrine

This tattoo of Jon from NJ was based on the Nagbukalan Shrine of Alitagtag, where his mom is from. His friend took that idea and tried to give it a futuristic feel. Its a dedication to his heritage and beliefs. When linked with his tattoo on his left arm (a crest/shield) the overall meaning is one of protection and action for himself and loved ones, to do what he need to in order to do whats best for those he care for the most. In a sense, it is like his sword and shield.Photo on 2010-02-21
