pinay kitty

Hello Kitty is a fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio, first designed by Ikuko Shimizu. She is a staple of the kawaii segment of Japanese popular culture. The character is portrayed as a female white Japanese bobtail cat with a red bow and no drawn mouth.

This cute tattoo of Julie from San Diego is what she called “Pinay Kitty”. Know why? Because it is obviously Hello Kitty with Philippine Sun as the ribbon. Plus the color of the ribbon is red, yellow and blue which is the color of the Philippine flag.

l_ffffd82c88b54c0fa5ed35d36164e217Take a look on how the Philippine Sun was spruced up by Emerald Tattoo (the shop who made this tattoo). The tattoo was obviously designed with Philippine Islands and Philippine Sun. To spice things up, the artist of this tattoo put a little twist on the Philippine Sun and surprisingly the Philippine Stars are not included.

The bearer of this tattoo is Rick Reddaway from Jackson.

This one is from Jamil of Sacramento, CA. He called his tattoo as “simple 3 Stars and a Sun” yet this is very stunning in its on way. This was done by David’s Custom Tattoos.

smallAshlee of Australia shared to us this tattoo image of his boyfriend Paul. According to her, his boyfriend is a Filipino and his tattoo design is a tribute for his Filipino culture.

As you can see, Paul’s tattoo has a Philippine Sun and the words “Filo Pride” at the middle. He shortened the word “Filipino” into “Filo”.
