The sexy tattoos in the rib cage of Rona Gonzales (the bearer) was made by Alex from Dream Jungle that says “Guevara Gonzales”, which is her middle and last name.

The Baybayin on her shoulder is the Hail Mary in Baybayin and her entire back was done by Chop at Gold Rush in Costa Mesa. She added fans because of the Filipino fan dance she learned when she was a kid. The flowers are Sampaguita and she is planning to finish its colors.

The tattoos on her garter belt and around her thigh are cherry blossoms she had 12 years ago.

Applause to Mimi from France for she is so proud that she’s a Filipina. She’s a half-French and half-Filipina. She live in France now but she grew up in Philippines. She got this tattoo to honor her heritage and to show that even though she’s white of skin and look very French, she’s still very proud that she is a Filipina from within. She also said that in French many Filipino dyed their hair and whiten their skins just to look Western. But she is different from them so she actually had this tattoo to say that she love being Filipina and she wears it with all pride.

Hail Mary prayer

This beautiful looking tattoo (She looks like Reese Witherspoon) is the Hail Mary prayer in Baybayin. The translation was probably sourced from the “1st” book printed in the Philippines, the Doctrina Christiana in 1593. Some say that’s when Baybayin was used as a tool to control us and therefore inappropriate as a “tribute” tattoo unless your OK with being a conquered people. What do you think?
