Baybayin translator, forum, and twitter

May 2, 2008 by Christian · 2 Comments

One of the hardest things to do is deciding what tattoo to get. If you want a Baybayin tattoo, it’s a lot harder because you have to think of the language translation, style, horizontal, vertical, old school, or modern. All I can say right now is that this new feature, will allow you to see how the tattoo will look like. If you want to test it out, email me.

Version 3 of the PinoyTattoos.com forum is now up. Feel free to register and start a conversation. Look out for exclusive goodies to be announced in the forum.

I finally created a Twitter account for PinoyTattoos.com. If your not familiar with Twitter, it’s a “microblogging” application that allows you to keep in touch with “friends”. You have to check it out to fully understand what it does. Follow PinoyTattoos at Twitter.com/PinoyTattoos.

2008 update

pinoy tattoos 2008 redesign

Website
PinoyTattoos.com v.2 will be launched soon. This site has grown a lot since introducing free Baybayin designs and translations a few months ago. Since launching the service on 10/01/07, about 100 translations and designs have been done. This new site will have a cleaner design and much more intuitive navigation system.

Custom Baybayin translations
The translation service will be spit in two. Since the # of requests have been increasing every month, it’s hard to keep up with my initial turnaround time of 48-72 hours. The wait is now about 1-2 weeks. The value added service will have a quicker turnaround time (48-72) hours depending on when you confirm what you want. I’m still playing around with the price structure but it will be a fair price. While I know that most wont pay for a quicker turnaround time, some people have made tattoo appointments without even knowing what they want to get. My question is, how much do you think a fair price would be for a quicker turnaround time? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you

Brandon Vera’s Baybayin tattoos

October 13, 2007 by Christian · 13 Comments

UFC Heavyweight contender Brandon Vera has 4 big Baybayin tattoos on his back signifying Mundo (Earth), Hangin (Wind), Tubig (Water) and Apoy (Fire). Based on the photos below, it looks like the MU glyph is missing a kudlit below it. Without the kudlit, it would read MA-N-DO. They look like Paul Morrow’s fonts.

*Update* I have to temporarily suspend requests as I need to catch up with the current wait list. Please contact me at info@pinoytattoos.com for more info. If you need a design fast or other than a name, please see the Baybayin design services page. – Christian 4/21/08

For a limited time, get your 100% FREE custom Baybayin script translation for a tattoo. I always suggest getting your Baybayin script tattoo from someone who knows the script but it’s hard to find a Filipino tattoo artist who’s versed in Baybayin unless you live in the big cities. This free service is for NAMES only. If you want something other than a name, please see the custom page.

3 good reasons to get a custom written script
1) Why would you want to get a tattoo that might look like another persons?
